Common Desk Relocates HQ to Factory Six03
Co-working provider Common Desk relocated its headquarters to Granite Properties’ Factory Six03 in Dallas’ West End neighborhood. The local company leased 18,085 square feet at the historic warehouse-turned-Class A office building at 630 Munger Ave.
Common Desk got its start in Dallas’ Deep Ellum and, according to founder and CEO Nick Clark, the move allows participation in both the neighborhood’s revitalization and connecting with the local community. “We were able to do this over the years in Deep Ellum, and now we’re ready for it in the West End,” he said.
Granite redesigned the 215,000-square-foot Factory Six03, formerly the West End Marketplace, to keep the building’s historic character. The renovation incorporated materials, such as 100-year old wood floors, exposed brick and a two-story brick oven from its days as a biscuit factory. Art pieces and sculptures by Dallas-based artists are installed throughout the building.
