Common Desk Expanding to FactorySix03

Dallas-based co-working company Common Desk is opening its sixth office in North Texas. The firm is leasing 18,085 square feet at the 215,000-square-foot FactorySix03, a Granite Properties re-adaptive project in Dallas’ West End-based “Innovation District” near downtown Dallas. FactorySix03, formerly known as the West End Marketplace Mall, is at 603 Munger Ave., and will open in early 2019.

The 115-year-old building began life as a warehouse, and the new Common Desk office will offer exposed brick, concrete textures and large factory style paned windows to let in natural light. Other features will include a vinyl record lounge, open-air mezzanine and tiered office spaces, a library wall with built-in book nook, wet bar and mosaic tile floors.

“With Factory Six03, we took a 115-year-old historic warehouse and turned it into a modern office space that’s ready to match innovative and creative users in the neighborhood,” said Granite Properties’ Will Hendrickson.
