Columbia Pacific Advisors Advances Plans for Bellevue Tower
Columbia Pacific Advisors plans to develop a 16-story office tower on a site it acquired 13 years ago in Bellevue. The Seattle-based alternative investment firm is seeking city approvals to build the roughly 315,000-square-foot tower at 200 112th Ave. N.E.
The U-shaped project would include nearly 3,000 square feet of retail and active-use space, as well as a street-level plaza, along with about 550 parking spots. An affiliate of Columbia Pacific Advisors acquired the nearly 1.6-acre site in late 2007 for $16.75 million. It now sits in an area that’s been rezoned to allow high-rises. The developer envisions construction starting in 2022 and delivery in early 2025.
Seattle’s Compton Design Office is the design architect, while Houston-based Kendall/Heaton Associates is the architect of record.
The office project is a departure of sorts for Columbia Pacific, which is known for developing such high-end residential projects as the 16-story, 265-unit Danforth apartments, that’s anchored by a Whole Foods Market, and the 24-story Murano senior housing tower in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood.
