Colliers Tapped to Sell Former Green Mountain College Campus in Vermont

Colliers International has been tapped to sell the 155-acre former Green Mountain College campus in Poultney, VT. The campus is fully-furnished and includes 23 buildings, comprising 450,000 square feet. The dormitory facilities include 654 beds.

Located in southern Vermont, the campus borders the state of New York and is nearby multiple lakes as well as the Adirondack Mountains and Green Mountains. Christopher Sower, Bruce Lusa, Jonathan Bryant, and John Flaherty of Colliers Boston are handling the assignment, with assistance from local market experts Tony Blake and Bill Kiendl of V/T Commercial.

“What Green Mountain has created on its Poultney campus is a quintessential New England experience,” said Sower. “While the college itself decided to close its doors following the Spring 2019 semester, I am confident we will identify a new user who appreciates and repurposes the quality infrastructure so thoughtfully put in place.”
