Colliers Brings MI Affiliate into Global Fold
Colliers International Group Inc. has acquired Colliers International West Michigan, a company that serves Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and the Lakeshore. The acquisition places the company, located at 333 Bridge St. NW in Grand Rapids, firmly in the Colliers Global Group fold. A spokesperson tells Connect Media that the West Michigan operations had been previously run by a Colliers affiliate partner.
“Joining the global operations of Colliers International was an obvious next step for us,” Duke Suwyn, Chairman/CEO of Colliers West Michigan said in a statement. “By fully integrating we will be able to leverage the size, resources and infrastructure of the Colliers International brand and global platform.”
The West Michigan deal is the latest in a series of strategic U.S. acquisitions for the global firm, and represents the fourth addition in the central region. The other three affiliates acquired were in Indianapolis, St. Louis and Dallas.
