Cobbler to Gobblers: A New Eatery Coming to Vista

At the corner of East Broadway and South Indiana Avenue in Vista stands the future home of a new local eatery. Lev Gershman will redevelop the land, which was a cobbler shop for almost 60 years, into a new 1,720 square foot eatery, while preserving its charisma.

In keeping the exterior charm of the old mid-century shoe repair shop, Gershman is looking to maintain Vista’s historic and community-minded atmosphere, in building “a place where people can bump into each other.”

He will fit the inside of the space to the future tenant’s needs, and is excited to be “a part of the future of downtown [Vista].”
