City Council Signs Off on Alloy’s 80 Flatbush Plan
The City Council has approved Alloy Development’s full-block project at 80 Flatbush Ave. in downtown Brooklyn, after a 24-month public review process. Totaling 1.03 million square feet, the block will include market-rate and affordable apartments, two public schools, office space and retail.
Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP acted as Alloy’s counsel in connection with the zoning, environmental reviews and other approvals for the 80 Flatbush project. The Fried Frank team was led by real estate partner Carol Rosenthal and real estate associates Nick Williams, Wesley O’Brien and Penny King.
Founded by chairman Katherine McConvey and CEO Jared Della Valle, Alloy has over $1.6 billion in projects completed or in development since 2006.
