Cinemark Breaks Ground on Eastlake Marketplace Theater
Cinemark Holdings Inc. and River Oak Properties broke ground on a state-of-the-art, 12-screen theater at El Paso’s Eastlake Marketplace. The theater, which will be the Plano, TX-headquartered company’s sixth location in El Paso, is scheduled to open in fall, 2020.
Included in the space will be:
- A Cinemark XD auditorium
- Luxury loungers
- Reserved seating
- 4K digital projection
- A large party room
- A lobby, with a full-service traditional concession stand and expanded menu
The theater, a Cinemark Movie Bistro, is anchoring Eastlake Marketplace, a 250,000-square-foot retail-and-restaurant development located at Interstate 10 and Eastlake Boulevard. River Oak Properties is developing the center, with construction to officially begin in January. Though tenants have yet to be announced, the roster will include restaurants and retailers new to the Eastlake area.
