Cielo Launches Construction on MXU Foundry

Cielo Property Group launched construction on The Foundry, a mixed-use office and residential development at Fourth and Comal Streets in East Central Austin. Upon completion in March 2019, the project will offer 76,000 square feet of office space, a fitness club and 17 condo units.

DRP Construction is the contractor on the project, as well as a future tenant. The company leased 30,000 square feet in the building.

Cielo is seeking LEED Gold certification for the development. The developer also will attempt to obtain certification from the International WELL Building Institute. If successful, The Foundry will be one of the first buildings in Austin to earn the designation.
