Charter Lease Kicks Off Final Development Phase

Charter Communications Inc. inked a 306,000-square-foot deal for the third and final phase of Village Center Station in Greenwood, CO. In addition to adding 800 jobs to the area, the lease officially kicks off construction on the final phase of the 900,000-square-foot, mixed-use Village Center Station. Developer and landlord Shea Properties was represented in the lease transaction by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

The building on East Caley Avenue will be ready by 2018.

Charter, which has just concluded a three-way merger with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, will use the space for administrative purposes, with plenty of room for expansion. In addition, the space will include software and product development, as well as regional operations.
