Charles Dunn Handles $11M Lease for Charter School
Citizens of the World Charter School Silver Lake signed a 25-year, 30,307-square-foot lease valued at in excess of $11 million at 2515 Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles. The school plans to occupy an entire three-story building built in 1963 at the northeast corner of Coronado Street and Beverly Blvd.
Charles Dunn Company’s John Anthony, Chris Steck and Chris Giordano represented the tenant. The landlord, Victory Presbyterian Church, was self-represented.
The charter school, which offers transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, is consolidating its elementary school grades into one large location as it is currently in four temporary sites across the city. The school plans to open its doors to students in the fall of 2019.
Steck says, “Our client plans to embark on a major renovation of the property to create a state-of-the-art learning facility that is capable of housing all of its elementary school students.”
