CenterPoint to Develop $30M Logistics Center at Port Everglades in Hollywood

CenterPoint Properties is set to break ground on the Port Everglades International Logistics Center, a $30-million, two-building, 296,207-square-foot industrial facility at Port Everglades in Hollywood. The buildings will sit on 16.5 acres of land at 3413 and 3423 McIntosh Rd. Groundbreaking on the project is set to take place June 5.

Eric Swanson and Chip Faulkenberry of Avison Young have been tabbed by CenterPoint to lead the project management and development of the facility, which is scheduled to be completed in Spring 2020.

The logistics center is designed to provide a modern, efficient, and secure environment for cargo activity at one of Florida’s most active seaports. The center will also be the new home of the Foreign Trade Zone No. 25 at Port Everglades, allowing tenants improved cash flow, avoidance of duties and lower tariff rates.
