Centene Breaks Ground on $770M HQ Campus

Centene Corporation commenced construction on a $770-million office campus in Clayton, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. The two-phased expansion initially includes a 28-story, 600,000-square-foot office tower and a 550,000-square-foot parking garage and retail space.

The office building at 7700 Forsyth Blvd. is expected to be completed by 2020. Subsequent phases include a 34-story office tower, residential, retail and hotel, as well as an auditorium.

The city approved a tax break that is projected to save the health insurer about $75 million over 20 years.

Centene also expanded its presence in the Mid-Atlantic region with a 68,846-square-foot office lease at 300 Corporate Center Dr. in Camp Hill, PA, near Harrisburg. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jason Sourbeer, Scott Bazoian, Adam Campbell, James Mosby, John Warren and Danielle Grubbs represented both the tenant and landlord, LNR Partners LLC, in the lease.
