CBRE Taps New Marketing Chief

Benji Baer has joined CBRE as chief marketing officer, based at the company’s offices in Midtown Manhattan. She boards from J.P. Morgan, where she served as managing director, global head of investments and product marketing, asset and wealth management.

Baer will be responsible for enhancing CBRE’s marketing capabilities and providing strategic direction for its marketing teams globally. “Benji comes to us with a wealth of experience positioning world-class financial services brands and building marketing organizations to drive business growth,” said Jack Durburg, CBRE’s global COO.

Prior to J.P. Morgan, Baer held a series of marketing leadership roles at Legg Mason, Citigroup, and AllianceBernstein. “I am thrilled to be joining CBRE at this key point in its evolution and with such momentum behind the business,” said Baer. “I look forward to working across the organization to help evolve CBRE’s brand and offerings.”
