CBRE Tapped to Sell Historic Gulfstream Hotel in Lake Worth Beach
CBRE has been retained by CDS Holdings to sell the historic 1920s era Gulfstream Hotel in Lake Worth Beach. Located at 1 Lake Ave., the 106-room hotel is nine miles from the Palm Beach International Airport and features unobstructed views of the Intracoastal waterway overlooking Palm Beach, as well as views of Lake Worth Golf Course and Bryant Park. The Gulfstream Hotel was built in 1923, and was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
Natalie Castillo, Joshua Beene and John Karver of CBRE are leading efforts to find a developer/investor for the Gulfstream and adjacent vacant 54,000-square-foot property, on behalf of current ownership.
“The Gulfstream Hotel is being offered for renovation and a potential expansion,” said Castillo. “The restoration of the property will continue to catapult Downtown Lake Worth Beach into one of the top waterfront communities in the Palm Beach area. We will be working closely with developers, potential investors, ownership and the city to successfully select the ideal candidate to restore and operate the Gulfstream Hotel to its former glory.”
