Castle Lanterra Acquires Class A Community

Castle Lanterra Properties expanded its Texas footprint with the purchase of Agave, a Class A multifamily property located at 633 S. Saint Mary’s St. in San Antonio. The 349-unit community was sold by a joint-venture between Greystar and The Carlyle Group.

The five-story, 2016-built property, designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, features River Walk frontage, 40 floor plans and a rooftop Sky Lounge. Castle Lanterra’s Elie Rieder spoke to the property’s appeal.

“In Agave, we identified a best-in-class property that fits perfectly with our strategy of complementing our existing value-add portfolio with stable core urban assets in irreplaceable locations,” he said.
