Caruso’s La Cienega Tower Unanimously Approved
The Los Angeles City Council unanimously voted to approve Caruso’s 333 La Cienega, a luxury mixed-use, transit-oriented project in Beverly Grove. The environmentally-sustainable, 16-story building includes 145 residential units and a 28,000-square-foot neighborhood market.
The former Loehmann’s site will also include a 7,000-square-foot, park-like, central gathering place accessible to the public. The Gensler-designed project, slated to be completed in 2020, is located at the gateway between LA and Beverly Hills, near a new Metro Purple Line station.
Off-site improvements include enhanced sidewalks lined with mature shaded trees, landscaped medians, and new bike lanes and crosswalks on La Cienega, San Vicente and Burton Way.
Caruso worked closely with the community to create a project that delivers community benefits, as well as achieving new standards in environmental sustainability.
