Carr Properties Signs WeWork to Office Lease in Metro D.C.

Privately-held real estate investment trust Carr Properties has signed global shared workspace provider WeWork to a new lease at The Wilson, Carr’s a new 361,000-square-foot office building in Bethesda, MD.

Located at 7272 Wisconsin Ave., The Wilson is part of a larger mixed-use development that is currently under construction. Slated for completion in the summer of 2020, the project will consists of 361,000 square feet of office space and 456 multifamily units located in three towers. The project is also adjacent to the new Bethesda transit station, which provides access to the Red Line, Purple Line and the Capital Crescent Trail.

Greg Lubar, Andy O’Brien, Zach Boroson of JLL represented WeWork. Carr Properties was represented in-house by Spencer Stouffer and Jason Bockenek, as well as by Phillip McCarthy, Keith Foery, and Cricket Cleary of Transwestern. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
