Carlos Marquez Joins NAI Partners as VP

Commercial real estate veteran Carlos Marquez joined NAI Partners’ San Antonio office as vice president. In his new role, Marquez will help the company boost the tenant and landlord representation sides of the business. He will report to Clare Flesher, managing director,  NAI Partners’ San Antonio office.

Marquez was previously with CBRE’s San Antonio office, where he oversaw the South Texas industrial market, and was responsible for the day-to-day leasing and marketing of IDI Gazeley’s industrial portfolio in South Texas and Reynosa, Mexico. The portfolio totaled 2.8 million square feet, and encompassed more than 250 acres of industrial land.

Marquez originally opened CBRE’s McAllen office, and had oversight of the Rio Grande Valley’s industrial market. He has worked on both sides of the U.S./Mexico border on a variety of assignments, from industrial sales and leasing, to land dispositions. Marquez received his B.A. in Finance from Texas State University.
