CaptureRX Stays, Will Expand, in San Antonio

Medical technology company CaptureRX agreed to remain in San Antonio. The company will move its current headquarters from 10100 Reunion Place to the 60,000-square-foot Kress Building at 311 E. Houston St. in the CBD. CaptureRX also agreed to expand its workforce to more than 300 over the next six years. The deal is contingent on incentive packages from the city of San Antonio and Bexar County.

Other cities bid for CaptureRX’s presence, including Kansas City, MO and Naples, FL. Company chairman Chris Hotchkiss told the San Antonio Business Journal that one factor leading to staying in the area was an opportunity to be part of what some are considering a downtown residence. Hotchkiss launched the company in 2000, in San Antonio.
