Brookshire Brothers Breaks Ground on Hudson, TX Store

Brookshire Brothers has launched construction on its newest Texas store, an Express store in Hudson. The store is expected to be open by mid-January.

Chief Operating Officer John Alston indicated that the company’s Express stores have worked well in smaller communities. It is being built under the same concept as stores in Apple Springs, Pineland anad Zavalla, TX.

“This one is going to have a full complement of fresh meat, fresh produce, and a hot deli,” Alston said. “All the core essentials of a Brookshire Brothers store. It’s just in a smaller, easy-to shop-format.” Brookshire Brothers is headquartered in East Texas, and operates David’s, Pecan Foods, Gormie’s Grocery and Brookshire Brothers stores.
