Brookfield Property Partners Taps Transwestern to Lease 4M-SF Houston Center

Brookfield Property Partners retained Transwestern to provide office and retail leasing services for the 4.2-million-square-foot Houston Center in the city’s central business district. Handling the office assignment will be Transwestern’s David Baker, Kelli Gault, Doug Little and Debbie Wilson. Nick Hernandez, Crystal Allen and Kim Bernick will provide services on the retail side. Brookfield acquired the mixed-use asset for $875 million in December 2017.

Transwestern Southwest President Kevin Roberts said that contributing to the five-building Houston Center is a “one-of-a-kind” opportunity, and that the property is in a dynamic area of downtown. “We are honored to have been chosen to work alongside the visionary leaders at Brookfield to lease this signature project,” he added.
