Brixmor Property Unloads Houston Assets

New York-based Brixmor Property Group Inc. sold Houston properties to different buyers within the past three months, according to a Q3 2018 supplemental disclosure document and recent press release. The dispositions include the following:

• The 50,967-square-foot Cedar Bellaire, an H-E-B retail center at 5106 Bissonett St. in Bellaire, TX in the Houston area. Brixmor sold the property for $17.25 million to Spectrum Properties Ltd. HFF represented the seller.
• The 38,997-square-foot Braes Link, a Walgreens-anchored center at 8415-8431 Stella Link in southwest Houston for $8.7 million. The buyer was not disclosed.
• The 80,836-square-foot Klein Square at Stuebner Airline and Louetta Roads, anchored by Food Town and the 98,141-square-foot Plantation Plaza at Plantation and Dixie Drives in Houston. Both properties were sold to Williamburg Enterprises in Houston; Scott Henard with Matthews Real Estate Investment Services represented Brixmor in the transaction.

Brixmor owns 34 properties in the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land MSA.
