Brighton Management Buys 150-room Hyatt Place in Vista for $27M
An affiliate of Irvine, CA-based CoreCapital sold the 150-room Hyatt Place San Diego/Vista-Carlsbad hotel at 2645 South Melrose Dr. in Vista, CA for $27 million. Newport Beach, CA-based Brighton Management, the self-represented buyer, will also manage the hotel.
The four-story hotel opened in 2012, and offers roughly 1,200 square feet of meeting space, and provides food and beverage service through its 24-hour guest kitchen, Gallery Market and Bakery Café.
CBRE Hotels’ Rod Apodaca and Bob Kaplan acted as exclusive agents for the sellers.
“Vista/Carlsbad is an underappreciated market, and the hotel’s location, desirable brand, quality construction/design and upside potential made it an exceptional acquisition opportunity,” said Apodaca.
