Bridge Investment Adds Rosemont Office Complex
Blackstone’s O’Hare International Center I and II, a 517,640-square-foot, transit-oriented office complex adjacent to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport in Rosemont, IL, has traded to Bridge Investment Group LLC. Terms were not disclosed; published reports put the sales price at $64 million.
An HFF team of Bryan Rosenberg, Patrick Shields, Jaime Fink, Jeff Bramson and Mark Katz marketed the property on behalf of the seller, and procured the buyer.
Comprised of two nine-story buildings, O’Hare International Center was part of a portfolio that Blackstone acquired from Duke Realty in 2011. The complex is 83% leased overall, and also includes a 1.9-acre development parcel zoned for commercial or residential use.
Along with its adjacency to the airport, the property also is convenient to both mass transit and Interstates 90 and 254. The location also benefits from an extensive amenity base, including numerous retail, hotels, daycare, multifamily and entertainment options.
