Boulder Group Arranges Trade of Net-Leased Skechers in KC Metro

The Boulder Group has completed the sale of a single-tenant net leased Skechers property in Overland Park, KS, within the Kansas City metro area. The 6,415-square-foot store sold to a West Coast buyer for $1,475,000. Randy Blankstein and Jimmy Goodman of the Boulder Group—Top Broker honorees for 2019—represented the seller, a Midwest-based real estate company.

“Short-term leased assets with low rent are an attractive way for investors to garner yield,” said Blankstein. Goodman added, “Properties with strong real estate fundamentals continue to be in demand with all investor classes.”

Located at 6740 W. 119th St. in Overland Park, the Skechers property is located next to a Walmart Supercenter, Kohl’s and Sprint’s corporate headquarters. Other retailers in the immediate area include Costco, Target, Best Buy, Whole Foods, AMC Theatres, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Restoration Hardware, Apple, and the multi-tenanted Town Center Plaza & Crossing.
