BMO Will Anchor New West Loop Tower

BMO Financial Group will anchor a 700-foot office tower to be developed by Riverside Investment & Development and Convexity Properties adjacent to Chicago’s Union Station. Approximately 3,600 BMO employees will ultimately be located in 500,000 square feet across 14 floors of the 50-story building, which is scheduled to open in 2022.

“We’ve operated in Chicago for over 150 years,” said David Casper, U.S. CEO at BMO. “With a nod to the past, we’re investing in our future in Chicago, building a world-class office tower in a world-class city, while providing our employees with a modern, progressive, cutting edge workspace designed to help them succeed.”

The West Loop location will also help to “attract top talent, meet the changing demands of an increasingly mobile workforce, and accelerate the delivery of customer solutions to market,” said CEO Daryl White. JLL’s Steve Stratton and Jeff Liljeberg represented BMO in the lease.
