Bluewing Midstream Launches Storage Phase II Expansion

Bluewing Midstream began construction on its Phase II Expansion project. Upon completion, the phase will provide 300,000 additional barrels of new liquids storage capacity at the company’s Port of Brownsville, TX location. The storage capacity, which can handle gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and additional petroleum products, will be online in late 2019.

Bluewing is backed by Energy Spectrum Capital, and already has existing assets in the Port of Brownsville. With the addition of Phase II, the company will offer existing and potential customers approximately 1.1 million barrels of storage capacity. The location serves customers in South Texas, Mexico and other additional markets.

“Phase II will allow us to advance our strategic organic development vision, while continuing to provide flexible and efficient terminal and logistics solutions to our customers,” said Bleuwing’s Todd Reid.
