Blackstone reportedly is considering a relocation from its longtime headquarters at 345 Park Ave.

Blackstone Adds 4 Floors to 345 Park Footprint

Investment management giant Blackstone has added four floors to its existing space at the Rudin Family’s 345 Park Ave. The 148,587-square-foot, seven-year expansion brings Blackstone’s occupancy at the Midtown East property to about 575,000 square feet, nearly a third of the tower’s 1.9 million square feet.

Blackstone has been a tenant at 345 Park since 1988. “The Rudin family has been a world-class owner of the building, and we look forward to our continued close relationship in the years ahead,” said Stephen Schwarzman, chairman of Blackstone.

Rudin Management CEO Bill Rudin said the renewal “reaffirms Blackstone’s and the Rudin Family’s commitment to Midtown East, and the strength of this pre-eminent business district.”

NKF’s Neil Goldmacher represented Blackstone in leasing negotiations. Building ownership was represented by Tom Keating of Rudin Management Company. Built in 1969 by the Rudin Family, the 44-story 345 Park is 100% leased.
