Berkshire Residential Makes Twin Cities Multifamily Buy

Berkshire Residential Investments recently finalized its acquisition of the Parkway Off Central, a 191-unit market-rate apartment complex in the Twin Cities suburb of Blaine, MN. Deal terms were not disclosed.

Located 11 miles north of Minneapolis, the Parkway Off Central at 9436 Ulysses St. in Blaine was completed in the summer of 2017 by Schafer Richardson. It will be renamed Berkshire Central.

“The Parkway Off Central was a great opportunity for Berkshire to acquire product in a thriving Minneapolis suburb,” said Kel Frazier, VP of acquisitions at Berkshire Residential Investments. “We continue to see upside potential in core properties in carefully selected markets throughout the U.S.”

The Boston-based investment firm has one other property in Minnesota, the Maven on Broadway in Rochester.
