Berkadia Snags Six CRE Advisors from CBRE in Seattle

Berkadia expanded its Northwest regional presence with the addition of six members to its investment sales and mortgage banking platform in Seattle. The group of top performing advisors, all of whom left CBRE, includes Jay Timpani, Mitchell Belcher, Steven Chattin, Robert Doxsee, Chad Blenz and Michael Manolides.

Berkadia’s Keith Misner notes the firm plans to expand its regional footprint, particularly with clients seeking private capital opportunities, where members of the newly added group are strong. They complement the firm’s current team, which is known for expertise with larger, institutional level opportunities.

Timpani, Belcher, Chattin and Doxsee join as Managing Directors, while will Blenz and Manolides will serve as Associate Directors. Timpani, Belcher and Chattin bring more than 50 years of combined experience and in excess of $1.2 billion in multifamily investment sales.

Doxsee and Manolides will join Berkadia’s mortgage banking team. Doxsee brings more than two decades of commercial real estate debt experience, mainly focusing on small balance lending.
