Bergen County, NJ’s Biggest Office Deal in 2017

Joint venture partners Onyx Equities and Garrison Investment Group just made the largest purchase of office property so far this year in Bergen County, NJ. The partners bought a portfolio of four buildings with a total of 847,805 square feet of space from Mack-Cali Realty Corporation.

The buyers “look forward to implementing Onyx’s signature, value-add, asset management strategy in partnership with Garrison Investment Group,” said Stephen Sullivan, chief investment officer at Onyx Equities.

Cole Schotz and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy represented the buyer. HFF advised the seller.

The portfolio includes:
– 461 From Rd., Paramus, a five-story, 260,962-square-foot building (pictured)
– 15 E. Midland Ave., Paramus, a five-story, 260,832-square-foot building
– 365 W. Passaic St., Rochelle Park, a five-story, 218,492-square-foot building
– 395 West Passaic Street, Rochelle Park, a four-story, 107,969-square-foot building
