Bendetti Bags Vacant Sacto Asset, Inks Goodwill to 170K-SF Deal
Irvine, CA-based The Bendetti Company acquired a vacant 300,000-square-foot industrial building located at 3689 Industrial Blvd. in Sacramento, and subsequently signed Goodwill Industries as the property’s first long-term tenant. Goodwill is taking 170,000-square-feet at the building, and will use the property as a retail outlet and warehouse facility.
The Bendetti Company’s Aaron Weaver says, “Securing a tenant like Goodwill highlights the flexibility of the Sacramento property, and also reaffirms that this was the right time for our company to make the purchase.”
The new owner plans renovations designed to take the building from an older and less-desirable Class C rating to a Class A rating, with high-quality infrastructure demanded by tenants today. Work is expected to wrap up in early 2019.
