B6 Names Mercado to Develop Technology Platform

B6 Real Estate Advisors has appointed Adrian Mercado (pictured) as partner and chief information officer. He’ll lead the development of B6’s proprietary technology platform and overall data and information strategy apparatus.

“Technology is at the very core of what we do at B6,” said company founder Paul Massey. “Adrian’s sharp grasp of the nuances of commercial real estate data, and his passion for technological innovation, are invaluable to us as we continue to build B6 into a technology-forward brokerage.”

Mercado was formerly principal of Alero Advisors, a commercial real estate data and technology consultancy. Prior to Alero, he was the head of product for Urbint, a data intelligence company focused on helping cities become more resilient through machine learning.

He also was the managing director of research at Cushman & Wakefield, and worked closely with Massey as VP of research at Massey Knakal Realty Services.
