AY Arranges Lease Renewal for Claim Administrator

Avison Young has negotiated a lease renewal and tenant improvement package for Gerber National Claims Services, a national automotive-glass claim administrator, in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg, IL. Located at 150 Center Ct. in Schaumburg, the office houses Gerber’s national claims processing and administration departments.

Principal Rick Morris and senior associate Marc Fiedler of Avison Young’s Chicago office represented Gerber in the 15,751-square-foot lease.

“The tenant had a tight timeframe and unique requirements due to the 24/7-nature of its call center operations,” said Morris. “Within three months from the hire date, we were able to secure significant tenant improvements, including space improvements and upgrades to the energy efficiency within the space in order to support the tenant’s heavy energy usage.”

Jennifer Hopkins and Olivia Czyzynski of SVN Chicago Commercial represented the building’s owner, Performance Real Estate Services 3 LLC.
