Avison Young Arranges Sale of 53K-SF Medical Office Building in Fairfax

Avision Young has brokered the sale of a medical office building located at 8301 Arlington Blvd. in the Merrifield submarket of Fairfax for an undisclosed price. Jim Kornick of Avison Young represented the seller, Harrison Street Real Estate, in the transaction. The buyer was a private investor.

The five-story, 53,430-square-foot property is situated on a more than two-acre lot. Additionally, the building is zoned to allow non-retail commercial uses with the opportunity to redevelop as hospitality or senior housing.

“In spite of the challenges presented by the COVID-19 epidemic, we were able to find a private buyer with whom we executed a smooth transaction,” said Kornick.
