Avison Team Markets $100M Upper East Side Group

Avison Young’s tri-state investment sales group is marketing the ownership shares in a commercial real estate portfolio of 12 mixed-use and multifamily properties on the Upper East Side. The asking price is $100 million.

Properties include 439 E. 74th St.; 305, 327, 425, 441 and 442 E. 75th St.; 418, 422 and 423 E. 77th St.; 309 E. 91st St.; and 1409 and 1411 York Ave.

The portfolio is being marketed on behalf of ownership by an Avison Young team including James Nelson, David Shalom, Eric Karmitz, Carter Lovejoy, Hannah Bryon-Staples and Bradley Rothschild.

The properties include 261 residential units and two retail units, totaling more than 150,231 gross square feet.

“Twenty percent of the apartments are also currently vacant, which makes this an immediate value-add opportunity for its new owners with the opportunity to increase rents as well as room counts through renovations,” said Nelson.
