Arkansas Pizzeria to Launch First Out-of-State Restaurant

U.S. Pizza Co., an Arkansas pizzeria headquartered in Little Rock, will open its first out-of-state restaurant in Texas. Specifically, the first restaurant will open in spring 2018, at 4206 Gibson Lane in Texarkana, TX.  Heading up the new franchise restaurant is Texarkana resident Sam Dickins, who is originally from Foreman, AR.

The chain got its start in the early 1970s; its restaurants today are scattered throughout Arkansas. However, according to the company website, franchisees are being sought in other states, including Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. According to U.S. Pizza’s Drew Weber, the company has expanded slowly and carefully, but wants to establish franchises in the states bordering Arkansas.
