Are Mountain View Prices Over the Top?

Mountain View residents say home prices are getting higher and higher.

Prometheus Real Estate Group recently acquired the Forest Glen Street complex of condominiums, and many tenants are fearful they will be priced out.

Ongoing rent hikes are indicative of what is taking place in Mountain View and other cities in the Silicon Valley. In the case of Mountain View, about 60 percent of the residents are renters, and it is getting tougher for them to find affordable places to live, due to high-paid workers from Google and other tech companies moving into the area.
