Applied Predictive to Remain, and Expand in VA
Applied Predictive Technologies will keep its Ballston, VA headquarters, despite being wooed by Washington, DC and North Carolina. The software developer will add 368 new jobs, and will receive more than $3 million in incentives from Virginia and Arlington County.
The company currently has about 250 employees. The expansion means it will leave its location at 901 N. Stuart St. for another Ballston building. Though APT did not specify the new location, local media sources report the move will be to 4250 N. Fairfax Dr. APT agreed to add a certain number of jobs over the next five years, and to occupy 87,315 square feet in Arlington County.
