Apple Inks 314K-SF Milpitas Deal with McCarthy Ranch
Apple Inc. signed a nearly 314,000-square-foot lease at McCarthy Creekside, a newly-built, multi-phased industrial development in Milpitas, CA. The tech titan inked a 10-year deal with Los Gatos, CA-based McCarthy Ranch, the project’s developer, at the single-story building located at 407 N. McCarthy Blvd.
The building is part of McCarthy Ranch’s initial phase of development that includes two buildings between Interstate 880 and Coyote Creek. McCarthy Creekside is planned to encompass four buildings totaling more than 800,000 square feet of industrial space, as well as roughly 6,000 square feet of retail space.
The second phase of McCarthy Creekside commenced recently, with another 350,000-square-foot industrial building on the site, which is expected to deliver within a year.
CBRE’s Chip Sutherland and Vince Machado handle the industrial leasing assignment, while Newmark Cornish & Carey’s Matt Sweeny and Josh Shumsky are responsible for the retail space.
