Another Engineering Building for Another UT Campus

The University of Texas System Board of Regents approved design development for University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB) to build an engineering building in Midland. The board also authorized funds for the $52 million project, which will be located at the CEED complex, 1310 N. Farm-to-Market 1788 in Midland.

Construction on the three-story, 94,000-square-foot building is scheduled to begin by spring 2017, and operational by fall 2019. The CEED and surrounding area will be renamed University of Texas of the Permian Basin Midland Campus. UTPB’s main campus is in Odessa, TX.

UT-Rio Grande Valley is also receiving an engineering building.
