Another Dollar General Store on Tap for Longview

RMB Construction is planning another Dollar Store in Longview, TX. The New Boston, TX-based developer wants to build a 9,100-square-foot store at 4108 Judson Rd., with groundbreaking planned for spring 2019. HP Investments, which owns the land, is planning to lease the site to the discount retailer.

RMB Construction’s Randy Barrett told the Longview News-Journal that he budgeted 180 days for construction. “Once we get the slab poured and the parking lot poured, we’ll adjust on the dates,” Barrett told the newspaper. “We send reports to Dollar General every week.” Altech Inc., in Texarkana, TX, is the general contractor.

Dollar General currently operates 10 stores in and around the Longview area, according to the company’s website.
