American Realty Relocates HQ to DTLA, Rebrands ARA
American Realty Advisors is relocating its HQ from Glendale, CA to 39,000 square feet at City National Plaza’s 515 S. Flower St. in DTLA. The institutional capital management firm, which is also being rebranded as ARA, will be taking occupancy in June 2017 on the 48th and 49th floors of the 52-story tower.
ARA’s Stanley Iezman said, “Our move to DTLA will accomplish three important factors of the firm’s growth, a focus on sustainability, finding and retaining great talent, and being in the financial center of Los Angeles, where global capital decisions are made.”
He notes the decision was also driven by DTLA’s connection to L.A.’s broad public transit network. The new office, at the 2.5-million-square-foot project, will provide open workspaces for team collaboration, state-of-the-art IT systems, and expanded conference and meeting rooms.
CBRE’s Clay Hammerstein represented the tenant. The landlord, CommonWealth Partners, was represented in-house by John Bandetti.
