American Library Association Seeks Cushman & Wakefield Advice
Cushman & Wakefield will advise the American Library Association on strategic real estate options as part of an agreement made between the two organizations.
The advisers will help the association optimize the value of its headquarters at 40-50 E. Huron St. The association will use the real estate advice to enhance its operations, grow membership and obtain more resources to invest in programs and services.
“Cushman & Wakefield will provide us with strategic real estate advice and services,” said Mary Ghikas, executive director of the American Library Association. “The firm has the requisite deep experience with not-for-profits and downtown Chicago headquarters and the right resources to help us identify and secure the best real estate options.”
“One of the benefits of retaining a global firm like Cushman & Wakefield is our access to broad and deep data,” said J. Frank Franzese, C&W executive vice president.
