Amazon Taking 350K-SF at Moffett Towers II
Amazon signed a lease for 350,000 square feet at Jay Paul Company’s Moffett Towers II in Sunnyvale, CA. The e-commerce giant is taking an entire eight-story building at 1111 Lockheed Martin Way that is slated for delivery Q3 2017.
The building is near Amazon’s existing 581,000-square-foot Lab126 facility at the Moffett Towers campus. Moffett Towers I includes seven buildings totaling nearly two million square feet, and is leased to such companies as Google, Microsoft and Yahoo.
Moffett Towers II will eventually be built out to a 1.8-million-square-foot office campus. The 47.4-acre site includes a campus park, featuring more than 40% landscaped open space, and an urban forest, outdoor meeting areas and a 52,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness center.
Newmark Cornish & Carey’s Phil Mahoney represented the landlord. JLL advised the tenant.
