Amazon Planning to Double Dallas Office Presence

Amazon.com Inc. signed a lease for approximately 100,000 square feet at its North Texas operation hub at Dallas’ Galleria Office Towers. The five floors at 13155 Noel Rd. will double as Amazon’s regional office. The e-commerce retailer is taking space in Three Galleria Tower, which once housed FedEx Office. FedEx relocated its North Texas office to Legacy West in Plano, TX.

Amazon came to the Galleria Office Towers in 2014, when it leased 88,615 square feet at Two Galleria Tower. Area sources familiar with the expansion deal believe that Amazon is growing its operations center to help grow its presence in North Texas. The company has millions of square feet  of distribution space in the region.

Amazon announced in January 2017, that it planned to open its third one-million-square-foot fulfillment center in Coppell, TX.
