Ally Takes 400K-SF at Planned Charlotte Tower

Ally Financial Inc. and Crescent Communities struck a lease agreement at a planned 26-story, 742,000 square-foot office tower that will be constructed at 601 S. Tryon St in Charlotte, NC. The new mixed-use development will be named Ally Charlotte Center, and is centrally located in Uptown.

The project includes a dedicated parking garage, a full-service hotel and a ground-level public plaza surrounded by contemporary shops and restaurants. Construction is scheduled to begin in Q1 2018, with delivery anticipated in 2021. Ally will take initial occupancy of roughly 400,000 square feet.

JLL’s Chase Monroe and Chris Schaaf represented the tenant. JLL’s Charley Leavitt and Barry Fabyan represented the Charlotte-based landlord.
