Aimbridge Hospitality Upsizes Lease in Headquarters Move
Plano-based hotel management firm Aimbridge Hospitality is expanding its planned office in a headquarters move, the Dallas Morning News reported. Aimbridge will lease the entirety of Cawley Partners’ new HQ53 office building on Headquarters Drive in Legacy business park, relocating from a smaller space in West Plano.
Aimbridge is targeting a March move to the new office building, according to filings with the state. The company had originally committed to about 75,000 square feet of the 200,000-square-foot building in June 2019, but has now expanded its lease to the entire property.
Like other hotel firms, Aimbridge has been affected by the pandemic. The company, which is one of the country’s largest hotel management firms, was initially forced to lay off or furlough a large percentage of its workforce, but has since brought some of the workers back.
