Ad Agency Madwell Drives into East Williamsburg Space
Creative marketing and advertising agency Madwell has signed a new 22,000-square-foot lease at 65-87 Porter Ave. in Brooklyn’s East Williamsburg neighborhood. The 33,000-square-foot property, owned by Bushburg Properties, is located in a rapidly growing submarket of Brooklyn.
ABS Partners Real Estate’s Ben Waller represented both the ownership and the tenant in the transaction. ABS leased the balance of the building to a commissary in 2017.
“Madwell has always had an eye for creative spaces and this is another perfect example,” said Waller. “They required a drive-in building so they could accommodate their vintage Chrysler car, which they use as a ‘phone booth.’ The 18-foot ceilings flooded with natural light will create an amazing atmosphere for their employees.”
